not sure what the problem is . . .
but you may have noticed yesterday or this morning that my blog went bonkers. For some unknown reason, it suddenly threw the sidebar all the way to the bottom of the blog.
So . . . I have played around with the templates, and this is one of the only ones that will put the sidebar back up there.
I will have to rebuild the links section, so be patient with me.

Good luck with that DOC. The same thing happened with some of my regular reads today. (Blogger is said to have changed the template)
